I booked several days ago from the date i wanted to stay. In Review comments by others, there are most likely pros and cons and you wonder if you pick up specific hotel/motel/inn or not. i stayed off-season, after thanksgiving day. But surprisingly, it was expensive, i paid more than $120for 1 king size bed. The entrance sign says "no vacant", but it turned out there are only 2 group guest for 2 rooms. (one room is ours). Anyhow, the bedroom, bathroom are clean. i don't have any specific complaint. Only one questionable thing was that key and signature required paper were in envelop and they wete left at the entrance of checkin office. it is saying that we are expected to pick it up and get in room by ourselves because office is closed. Really!? I had never experienced to stay in the motel when office is closed! And there was no information of pasdword for WIFI in contract paper or binder in the room, or wall etc. And o had to call guest service (push 0 on the room phone) to get the password. if office is closed (i would say they are too lazy to open office for 2 group guests?), password should be written on paper and it is expected to be given.
Great place people were great ,place was clean and very well kept.Rooms were great can't believe the views.
Room 124 is clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my night here, and even in the off-season this place is packed. I would recommend it to someone who wants to go to the Cape, does not need luxury, but just a place to stay. It provides everything I need at a price that doesn’t make me feel like I spent too much.
I stayed in the detached building furthest from the main entrance. The room was infested with roaches. When I saw the first one, I asked my friend if it was a beetle, when we found several under the warmth of her ipad, then my phone, behind the fridge, bathroom, ceiling, carpet and so on, I knew the room was infested! We fled in the middle of the night. We are very clean people that had all food in the fridge. We thought we were itching because we were grossed out by the roaches. We were so wrong! My friend and I had itchy bumps on our ankles, shoulders, head, face and neck area. They look like bed bug bites, I did not see any but I'm quite certain thats what this is! The owner did provide a full refund! No one should save money all year and have a vacation end like this! We fear bringing the infestation to our own homes, we are now incurring additional precautionary expenses, in addition to tremendous stress!
The room is functional, unlike the heated pool that was empty. Yeah, the pool they prominently mentioned on their website. Security is a bit lacking. I checked in by just giving my name and they payed for it with the original card and off I went with the key. No id check.... Bed was comfortable, and everything else seemed fine. View was nice.
