We've been camping here for 10+ years and enjoy the quiet, environment, friendly people, clean rest rooms, friendly staff. What's not to like?
The premium campsite we ordered for $50/night was comfortable and big enough, but the entire place is very cramped together. Id hate to see what the primitive sites are like. Went in late August and despite being filled to the brim with people was still very quiet. The wifi was impressive in signal strength and reached 3Mb download. Enough for a low def Netflix steam.
We love our seasonal site. We have been camping there since 1975.
Great place. Cozy, lots of "residents" so to say. Everyone is very friendly, showers and restrooms are very clean.
Other than that, we had a very good time and would probably come again. I would just find somewhere else to shower.
I recently stayed at this campground and had an awesome time. The place was very convenient, clean, and lots of fun. But the one thing I didn't get was why I had to pay for my shower?! I paid $72 for two nights for a primitive campsite. I did not have any water or electricity hookup so what does my money that I paid go towards? I have been to several campgrounds and never once did I have to pay to take a shower. I understand the showers are limited, but there are other ways to make sure people share fairly. I didn't even have quarters when I wanted to shower so for a whole weekend, I wasn't able to shower. I think this is a remarkably huge flaw.
